Short strategy notes
Roulette
Choose European or French wheels. The extra double zero on American roulette almost doubles the house edge without adding anything to the game. No betting system, including Martingale, changes the edge. It only changes how quickly the balance swings. Every version and bet type is explained in the roulette guide.
Blackjack
The blackjack guide covers every table type. Learn basic strategy: a chart that tells you when to hit, stand, double or split for every combination of your hand and the dealer's upcard. Following it brings the edge down to around half a percent. Skip insurance. It is a separate bet with a poor return.
Baccarat
The banker bet is statistically the best even after commission. The tie bet pays 8:1 but carries a house edge above 14%, so it is best treated as an occasional extra.
RNG or live?
RNG tables are faster and cheaper per round, and you set the pace. Live tables are slower and more social, with real cards and a dealer. Many players learn a game on RNG in demo, then move to live tables. GreenBet keeps both in the lobby, and the dealer tables are in the live casino.
Table games usually count only partly toward bonus wagering. If you prefer them, consider playing without a bonus and benefit from VIP cashback instead.
Frequently asked questions
Which table game has the best odds?
Blackjack with correct basic strategy and full-pay video poker, both around 0.5% house edge.
Are RNG table games random?
Yes. Results come from certified random number generators supplied by the game studios.
Can I count cards in online blackjack?
No. RNG games shuffle after every hand, and live tables use multiple decks with frequent shuffles.
Is there a demo for roulette?
Most RNG roulette games offer demo play. Live roulette does not.
